Winter 2024

Recently we had a fundraising day for Red Nose Day by decorating the houses, dressing in red and baking "red" treats. We also had a competition to guess the number of jaffas in a jar - the winner took the jar of jaffas! 

We also took some residents to the Snow White musical held at the Aurora Centre at Burnside High School. They really enjoyed the show as you can see from their smiles 😃 

The staff take residents on regular outings, a firm favourite is the Air Force Museum and of course a stop at the Cafe afterwards!

Another favourite is bowling, we take quite a few residents regularly for a game and a bit of friendly competition. They are great at cheering each other on too.

And, it wouldn't be winter without a bit of rugby too. We have a few guys that go to quite a few of the home games and they have an absolute blast. Go Crusaders!
